Why Surabaya / East JavaIndonesia is one of the largest exporters of forestry products in South East Asia (forestry exports reached US$8.22 billion as of August 2024). Most furniture and woodworking trade shows in Indonesia are held in the western part of Java (Jakarta), leaving East Java - the second largest furniture production cluster - underserved. Grand City Convex in Surabaya puts the show within short transport distance of those factories, with easy trade access to the rest of Java and Kalimantan.
